Myrta earned her B.A. in Social Sciences from the Universidad of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez, a M.S. in Community Health Education from the University of Massachusetts and a Ph.D. in Health Education from The Pennsylvania State University. She teaches medical Spanish, as well as basic Spanish courses in the classroom and online.
