Biography:
Daniel Sanguino RodrÃguez is originally from Malpartida de Cáceres, Spain, but his educational career has led him to live in different parts of the world. Daniel completed his undergraduate education in English Studies at the University of Salamanca, where he was awarded a scholarship to study abroad for a year at the University of Wolverhampton. He has also earned a MEd in Upper Secondary Education and Language Teaching at the University of Valladolid, and a MA in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Oregon, where he held a graduate teaching position.
Daniel has taught a great variety of courses at different higher education institutions, including basic and intermediate Spanish, conversation Spanish, advanced grammar, and Spanish for health professions. At Penn State, Daniel teaches in the Spanish Basic Language Program, and, when he is not teaching, he loves reading, traveling, hiking, and playing soccer and tennis.
