Emily completed her undergraduate studies in Spanish and English at the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Alicante, in Alicante, Spain. She earned her master’s degree in Spanish at Penn State in 2007. Since that time, she has been a faculty lecturer teaching undergraduate Spanish courses in the Intermediate and Basic Language Programs. Outside of class, Emily enjoys tacking ambitious projects in the kitchen and attending student theatre productions on campus.
